Rudy Pataro has extensive information technology experience in the engineering, manufacturing, retail, and high-tech sectors. At Fry, he is responsible for the overall technical skill set expertise delivered to clients and oversees the company's Strategic Services Group. As he leads Fry's business development efforts Rudy is also responsible for the identification and growth of partnerships and product offerings that leverage Fry's core competencies.
Before joining Fry in 2001, Rudy spent two years as a strategic IT consultant and, prior to that, he was the Chief Technology Officer for Borders.com, the Web site for the Borders Books and Music chain. In that role, he was responsible for the site's technology design, implementation, legacy integration, and hosting systems. Earlier in his career, Rudy served more than a decade as a consultant to large, multinational firms in system strategy, architecture, development, and methodologies.
He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and an M.S. in Automotive Engineering from the Chrysler Institute.
